Open up!

The good thing about being a good listener, a good confidant and a truthful practical advicer is that, you always get to share in the positive molding of lives.

Now, many people, especially ladies are too 'scared' to share their pains with someone. I have been there too. I know the feeling of not wanting someone else to know what you are going through for fear of broadcasting your story.

My sister, you need to speak out. Am not saying you should tell everyone you see your life history. No. What am saying is, you need to have someone you can talk to. You need to have a trusted physical friend.

You can call her your friend,prayer partner, confidant,etc. The name does not matter. What matters is the role she plays.
Now listen, if you expect to have a faithful confidant, just know it that you, yourself, will have to be faithful.

It has been proven that many illnesses, especially cancer,can be traced to bitterness.
You dont need to be bitter. Its ok to feel down, be a bit depressed. But it is not ok to 'walo' in your pain.
It is not okay to remain down. You need to speak out. Dont let that pain kill you. Life is full of ups and downs.
Joys and pains. No life is without pain. But what makes us or marrs us is our ability or inability to handle our pains.

How do you know who to talk to? The first step to answering that question is, who are you? The people around you, most times, are a reflection of who you are.
You need to look within you and see if your character or attributes attracts the right kind of people.

When i say the right kind of people, i mean;
Women who are not afraid to tell you the truth even when it hurts.
Women who understand that the Word of God is potent and live by it.
Women who have the love of God in them.

Nobody is a saint. There is no perfect human being but you must make sure your confidant is someone that fears God.

You must not take every advice you are given. Make sure you weigh every advice with the word of God. Any advice that goes contrary to the Word should be discarded.
Also, be truthful because solutions to problems are tailored according to the problems and lies can therefore, be dangerous.

In all things, trust God. Believe His word, love Him and the love of God will continue to shield you.
